GREAT!! The work was done professionally and amazed us and all the neighbors. A crane was positioned in the driveway at the front of the house and large branches of oak tree were removed over the house. I have had other companies do tree work at another house and never have seen the expertise that Kruljac Tree Service showed. Their price was actually one of the lower ones we obtained and some companies told us they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the right equipment. I know we have found the only tree service we would use in the future/ If we could give them an A++++ we would.

The professional arborists at Krulijac Tree Services are fantastic! These guys are an elite group of tree experts that understand everything about how to cut down trees, when to trim the various types of trees, how to plant, when to plant, and how to transfer trees. They are a wealth of knowledge and their tree cutting services are affordable with incredible customer service! Their safety is unbelievable and when they come to your house it is "worry free" on the part of the home owner! Thank you Krulijac for being the best!

Kruljac Tree Services (KTS) responded promptly to my inquiry with a visit to my property. I was unsure whether the ash tree might be saved, and Ryan explained that it could not. It was inflicted with the emerald ash borer and doomed. He rapidly sized up the job and gave me the price, which never changed. KTS scheduled the job weeks in advance and kept the date. With a belay Ryan moved rapidly through the tree, cutting limbs, which he had tied off so they could be lowered gently to the ground. As he progressed the team fed the limbs into their wood shredding truck. The whole job was done in a bit over two hours. The rhododendrons and hollies under the tree were untouched. It was a perfect job. The crew could not have been more professional and polite.

Look no further if you are looking for a professional, prompt, knowledgeable crew to do whatever is needed to the trees in your yard. Anyone can do "tree work" -- but these guys know trees and how to prune and cut them.
If you are tired of getting an unkempt group of guys showing up at your house (late!) and just hacking away at your trees and dragging branches over the grass in your yard - making a real mess - (like I have had in the past) then you are in for a treat with Kruljac Tree Servcies.
Ryan is a certified arborist. He knows his trees and is passionate about them! Note: a representative from a very reputable landscaping firm in Pittsburgh noted that the elm trees in our yard were going to die within the year because of some disease that all of the elms are getting. We debated about cutting them down now - but decided to wait until they die. Well, Ryan came out - and determined that they are not elm trees at all; they are Black Walnut trees. He said a lot of people get them confused. He knows trees!!
I received a detailed estimate, indentifying each tree, its location and what was to be done. In addition, Ryan is very big on safety -- (I learned that he teaches safety to other tree trimmers around the country.) When they were up in our trees, they were all wearing yellow helmets and I could just TELL that they knew what they were doing. Those are the kind of guys I want up in our trees.
We had 2 trees cut down and about 8-10 more trimmed and that meant a lot of branches throughout our yard. When the guys were done, there wasn't a branch in sight. All I saw was some sawdust around where the trees had been removed. PLUS, they didn't drag them through our grass, etc. They picked all of them up and carried them .
Just looking at these guys, you know that they love what they are doing. They own the company and they are the ones doing the work.
I give them the highest recommendation possible.

Provider promptly returned my call and came to the home on the day and time on which we agreed, provided reasonable (and lowest) quotation for removal of tree and associated stump grinding. Quote, subsequent communication, date of removal of tree and billing all conducted electronically which I really liked, as it provided an easily retrieved email trail of the interaction. Work was professionally performed, plants and mobile grill near tree were moved to prevent their possible damage, and site dressed and left very neat. Small job, professional treatment of the customer and in the conduct of the work, and job well done. I would definitely hire them again.

My maple tree was nestled between a 1200 square foot tree lumber deck and a Series XL6 Playground World playground. We were very nervous about the potential damage this tree could cause to our deck and the playground. The tree had been falling apart limb by limb for 5 years. We even had a retention cable placed in the tree to try and keep it together because of the shade and beauty it provided to our yard. Ryan Kruljac examined the tree and said it was dying and the potential for future damage was high. He was absolutely correct, after taking down the tree, it was apparent that it was dying, the trunk had many hollow points within. Ryan took this tree down with very little room for error and he handled it expertly. His entire crew was amazing, they blew the deck and playground of all debris, cleaned up all the leaves, and didn't leave a branch, twig, or piece of bark. Most importantly, the deck and playground were safe.

KTS came to the house at the specified time to provide an estimate, which was prepared on an IPad and shared with me via email that afternoon. A date was set for when the work was to be performed, and they arrived as planned. When they were done, the yard looked fabulous and there were no telltale signs of them being there: everything was cleaned up thoroughly, except for the enormous pile of chipped branches they left behind on the driveway at my request! (The equipment is so well maintained that the chipper created excellent mulching material I used beneath the trees across the back of the yard.) KTS is coming back in the Fall to trim 4 oak trees across the front of the property, and I've recommended KTS to my neighbors to have their oak trees trimmed at the same time. (KTS would not trim them in July/August because of potential damage to the trees; I did not know this and appreciated their knowledge.) I can not recommend KTS more.

Prompt reply to inquiry and scheduled appointment to estimate. Arrived on time and reviewed the property with obvious strong knowledge of trees, conditions and plans for performing the work efficiently and safely. Much consideration given to ensure work would be safe put me at ease. Very friendly and estimate presented immediately on a tablet computer to be signed if wished. Also emailed for further consideration - all electronic communication very easy and convenient.
Estimate is by the hour not by the tree which is more novel than most others and economical - seems very fair for all involved.
Scheduled my job earlier than originally forecasted which was much appreciated.
Work performed while I was away with no incident.
Stump grinding took place a couple of weeks later after interactions to arrange for the equipment to be transported onto the site (difficult to get to.)
Most interactions done by email except for when phone conversation was warranted.
I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing tree work.

Ryan Kruljac and his crew from Kruljac Tree Services removed at least 10 dead or dying trees front two properties owned by my wife and I. Their work and professionalism were outstanding and I highly recommend Kruljac Tree Services. They worked very efficiently and as safely as possible considering the danger inherent in this sort of work. They gave us advance notice of when they would perform the work and they showed up right on time. In addition, they did much better at cleaning up all of the debris than I would have expected. We have children Ryan kindly used his chainsaw to make them some cool little chairs too. Finally, they also delived some large logs to a neighbor with a fireplace. Thanks Ryan!

Ryan came to survey the job approximately three weeks before the work was done and provided a written (via email) cost estimate. The crew arrived on time, the work was done quickly and the costs did not change from the initial estimate. We are really happy with the work that Ryan, Jeremy and crew did for us. The trees look GREAT and the firewood that was left on the property was neatly stacked. There are good reasons as to why they are so busy!
